If this unit plugs into your keyboard port, you should be able to scan a barcode and view the data scanners in a text editor, such as Notepad. The first is plugged into your hand-held scanner. When you recieve the scanner like new you always have to program it. First you do Reset to factory defaults. Never do this with working scanners then you have to program it. First the Connection type and then if needed a computer type. After that you usually have to scan a suffix. This means when you qs6000 a barcode it needs to do something after. That is what the suffix is for. It needs to be programmed with the manual psc recieved. If you need more help i will hear it.

If you enable this feature, your bar codes must contain a Check Digit.
